‘Sunset Glow’

The evolving process of layering through a series of marks, where each mark is intuitively placed responding to the marks that came before. Different tools and techniques are called on throughout. This piece began abstractly, developing into a fiery evening sunset reflecting on the sea as earlier layers peep though the layers above.

This painting was long listed for the ArtEvol exhibion at the Saatchi Gallery in London in September 2025.
